The Department of Statistics is connected to many other faculties at the TU Dortmund via research cooperations, e.g. within the Collaborative Research Centers 823 (based at the Department of Statistics) and 876 (based at the Department of Computer Science). Furthermore, we offer joint lectures with other faculties as the Department of Computer Science (Knowledge Discovery in Data Bases) or Journalism (Data Journalism).
Additionally, we interact with numerous further universities, resulting in co-written publications or mutually supervised diploma and PhD theses. These interactions are complemented by a network of cooperations with researchers and users outside the world of universities.
