Advances in Analysis of Longitudinal and Clustered Data

International Workshop IBS-DR Working Group "Nonparametric Methods" (AG Nichtparametrische Methoden)
February 25-26, 2020
Erich-Brost-Institut, TU Dortmund University, Dortmund, Germany

Scope & call for papers

Clustered, longitudinal or repeated measures data occur naturally in biomedical studies. The workshop aims to discuss new biometric developments (methods and software) for the analysis of such or similar life sciences data. Beyond that, another goal is to facilitate the exchange among scientists from different fields and to integrate young scientists (master or PhD students). In particular, we provide topic-free slots and are espeically looking forward to submissions from young scientists.

Travel & venue

Workshop location

The workshop will be held in the building of the Erich-Brost-Institut (EBI), Otto-Hahn-Str. 2, 44227 Dortmund.

Dortmund can be reached by plane and train. Next to Dortmund Airport (DTM), also Düsseldorf Airport (DUS), Cologne/Bonn Airport (CGN), and Münster/Osnabrück (FMO) are reasonably close.

The closest train station is the regional train station Dortmund Universität which is located directly on campus. You can search for train connections to Dortmund Universität using Deutsche Bahn's website. From Dortmund main station (Dortmund Hbf) or Bochum main station (Bochum Hbf) the regional train line S1 reaches Dortmund Universität in less than 15 min. From there, the workshop location is within walking distance. A map of the campus and surrounding area is found here. If you plan to arrive by car, a map with driving directions is provided by EBI, note however, that traffic on A45 and A40 can be dense.
